Tech Forum April 2016 Update
A Note from the Board

Cyber security is one of our most pressing national issues encompassing industrial espionage, cyber terrorism, international diplomacy and our personal privacy. Technology is leading the way in a debate that is shaping the balance of power in the world and personal liberties at home. Tech Forum Members are invited to meet and talk with the former Chancellor of the National Defense University iCollege who has contributed to the policies that define our cyber security strategy.

Dr. Robert Childs from Washington D.C. will be in Wilmington for one night on May 19th to address our nation's strategies for cyber security and the global threats to our country at a rare joint meeting of the World Affairs Council and the Tech Forum. See below for all the details.

Cyber Security: Strategic Thinking in a Threatening World

Tech Forum is pleased to partner with the World Affairs Council of Delaware to present a very special dinner on May 19th featuring Dr. Robert Childs, former Chancellor of the National Defense University iCollege, and Deputy to the President for Cyber and Information.

Dr. Child's will travel to Wilmington from D.C. to share his belief that only through building a strong foundational and structural framework of governance, policy, architecture and law can the appropriate strategies and tools be put into place to build a sound cyber defense. Over 70% of cyber strategies fail because leadership throws money at solutions rather than having a sound, thought-out planning process within a strategic framework.

This exclusive dinner is available to Tech Forum Members only. Cocktails, appetizers, dinner, wine and dessert are included with registration. Register Today! Not currently a Member? Become one now and you can attend too!
