Tech Forum March Update

A Note from the Board

Thank you to all who came out for Spring Into Networking last week. We trust that you had a great evening connecting with friends and colleagues in the tech community.

We hope you will join us for two special events in April and May. We will convene at the Venture Development Center in Newark on April 15th to hear start-up pitches from University of Delaware student teams. Blue Hentrepreneurship was a sold-out event last year, so register today to guarantee your spot.

We are gearing up for the inaugural Top Technology Trends for Delaware celebration in May. We invite you to submit your company, your clients or any innovator that is shaping the future of our region with new technology. You need to act fast - nominations close on March 31st! We are thrilled to announce that Capital One will be our host on May 20th in their newly renovated lobby on Delaware Avenue. See below for more details and the link to registration and the nomination form.

Best regards,

Rick Sommer

Tech Forum of Delaware took a moment last week to honor one of its founding members, David Freschman. He was remembered by board Chair Rick Sommer at the organization’s Spring into Networking event held at Timothy’s on the Riverfront in Wilmington.

Radio Newark was present to record Tech Forum's 2015 Idea Challenge in February — which turned out to be the easy part. They then got to work editing the hours of audio files. It’s a big story to tell in ten minutes!

Call for Nominations - Hurry Deadline is March 31st!

The Technology Forum of Delaware is launching an annual celebration of the
Top Technology Trends for Delaware on May 20, 2015. Join in this fun, high energy event dedicated to discovering and celebrating the hottest new technologies being invented, developed and deployed in the Delaware region.

We invite the Tech Forum community – that’s you – to submit candidates for consideration. You may nominate yourself, your company, your clients or any innovator that is shaping the future of our region. An eligible technology must be invented, developed or deployed in the Delaware region.

We are seeking technologies that are trending into the future, but which are already having a significant impact on the way we work, live or do business, such as 3D Printing, Cloud Computing and the Internet of Things.

A panel of thought-leaders and Tech Forum board members will evaluate the nominations and select the most innovative, impactful and forward-looking technologies. We’ll announce the honorees at the Tech Forum event on April 15th, and gather on May 20th at Capital One to celebrate the Top Technology Trends for Delaware.

Register for the event and/or submit your nomination(s) here.
