Jennifer Kmiec

Jennifer Kmiec is the Founder and Co-chair of the Inspiring Women in STEM conferences and workshops, which support and encourage women in science and technology careers. She is also Associate Director of The Committee of 100 with responsibility for events, member engagement and operations. In addition to the Tech Forum board, she serves on the external advisory board of the Delaware Small Business Technology Development Center (SBTDC). Jennifer is also the Immediate Past Chair and was a founding board member of the Delaware BioScience Association.

Jennifer was previously Executive Director of the Delaware Sustainable Chemistry Alliance, and the Associate Vice President for Economic Development at Marshall University where she led efforts to form the Bioscience Association of West Virginia and served as vice chair. During her prior twenty years in the private sector, Jennifer held senior management positions in business development, marketing and operations at several biotechnology companies, including Newark-based iBio, Inc., Athena Biotechnologies and Tapestry Pharmaceuticals.

Jennifer holds a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences from Southern Illinois University and a master’s degree in administration from the University of California at Davis.
