Intellectual Property Strategies for Competitive Advantage

The America Invents Act was passed last year and will dramatically change the U.S. patent system as it is phased-in over an 18 month period ending March 2013.  Business owners who rely on the patent system to protect their intellectual property (IP) will need to understand the changes to maintain their competitive edge.
The Technology Forum of Delaware invites you to our April 18th event to learn more about the America Invents Act's impact on patent protection.  We will also be discussing other forms of IP protection, including copyrights, trademarks, Know How, and more.  Hear from two of the leading IP attorneys in the region, as well as an entrepreneur that has utilizied a robust IP strategy to gain a competitive advantage in his/her industry.  Ted Schroeder from Senator Coon's office will provide a Washington perspective on current IP legislative developments.

See you there!
